    Hi Joe,

That’s a networking error – it indicates a networking problem somewhere along the line between your PC and the web host. It’s not something controllable or fixable from inside UD.

    Hi Joe,

Let me explain a bit more.

These things are at different levels. To give an analogy, it’s like you’re having a phone conversation, and whenever the person you’re talking to uses the word “Constatinople”, the line suddenly goes dead. The problem isn’t the word “Constantinople” – it’s that for some reason there’s something on your line that doesn’t like that word. But you can’t fix that problem by dealing with the person who keeps saying “Constantinople”. It can only be fixed by the people providing the line.

i.e. Either at your web hosting company’s end, or your ISP’s end, there’s something that cuts the connection for an unknown reason. The reason isn’t a bug inside UpdraftPlus. Given the information you’ve given, someone could tweak UpdraftPlus a lot to adjust the output a lot to find out exactly what triggers it – just like you could say “Constant” and “stantinople” and everything else to work out what kills your telephone line. But that’s not the kind of thing done on a wordpress.org forum – you’d need to get a network professional to conduct that kind of investigation; and their conclusion would result in highlighting something in your local network, your ISP, or your web hosting company’s equipment. But it’s not possible to do that from here.

    Hope that helps,
    David
