    Hi,

I have a question about the confirmation of the subscription of each person to my newsletter.

I didn’t know about this option before and now I realize that using thiq option can be great in order to deal with spam/robots or people who are not really interested to my newsletter.
However I have already hundreds of people in my newsletter and I don’t know how to deal with the subscription of this people because If I activate the option, everyone in my list get “no confirmed” … Is a message automatically send to them to say that they are to confirm whereas they are suscribred a while ago ?

    Thank you,

  • Hi,

If you enable signup confirmation, you can then go to the Subscribers page and re-send the confirmation email. It’s on the left side, on the menu.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Okey but If I don’t resend this signup confirmation, these people will still receive my newsletter ?

    Thank

They won’t receive your newsletters until they confirm their subscription. Please, make sure your Sending Method is working first.

    Hi,

First of all i must say i am new on wordpress and a beginner of course.

I have a problem with non-admin users subscription.
My wp-admin folder is password protected because of some security concerns.
Whenever someone tries to subscribe to our newsletter a pop-up appear in the browser which says “authorization required” and obviously they have no idea what the username and password can be.

I still wonder why should someone see such message on the page, because subscribers are not suppose to have access to wp-admin panel or folder.

would you PLS help me with that, this is vital …

    Thank you in advance

And the error message is :

Oops! There is a problem with this form: textStatus:error errorThrown:Unauthorized responseText:Unauthorized Access

@doomansoltani you are seeing this message because our Subscription Forms use the AJAX method to send the data to your database. WordPress AJAX is located inside wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, that’s why you are seeing this pop-up requesting for username and password.

    Thanks for your prompt answer,

Should i change the code in admin-ajax.php?
Would PLS kindly give me a hint that might help to solve the solution?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    can somebody help me? anybody?
    It`s somehow vital …
