Confirm email not sending

I have the salon booking plugin installed on my website. I have it set up that appointments require confirmation from me so when my customers book, the booking starts out as pending. My customers get the email when they first book saying they’ve booked, but when I confirm, they don’t get an email notifying them their booking has been confirmed. I just wanted to clarify, are they supposed to get an email when their booking is confirmed too or do I need to manually re-send it from the booking screen each time?

If so, is there somewhere I can set the default text on the email so I don’t have to re-type it every time?
