    wp-content/cache/minify

This is the last obstacle I have for 100/100 on google speed tests

Your page has 1 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.

I have tried ticking and unticking all the options but throws up more errors than it fixes unfortunately.

well, AO does not write cache to wp-content/cache/minify, so maybe you’re using another css/js optimizer? 🙂

well, have a look at the FAQ; you can either inline all CSS or go for the (more difficult) “inline & defer” option.

if I inline all css it throws up the below error. so would you suggest I use inline and defer option instead. I had read the faq just wanted your opinion before I go down the harder route.

    Prioritize visible content

Your page requires additional network round trips to render the above-the-fold content. For best performance, reduce the amount of HTML needed to render above-the-fold content.

yep, if you have a lot of CSS that round trip warning will pop up, inline & defer would be the way to go in that case.
