• For example

    First Question:
    Chose your profession:
    IT
    Construction
    Hotel
    Restaurant

If I choose IT second question is:
    Please specify area:
    Networking
    Development
    Support

This is just an example but is it correct that I cannot set the second question as required? Of course it should only be required if the person choses IT on the first question. Is this correct that questions based on conditions can not be mandatory?

  • What “second question”?
    What’s your real question?

Making multiple vague questions is not helpful.

      What is your age? (*Required)

    • 0-18 years
    • 18-35 years
    • 35 and older
Do you have your parents consent to visit this page? (*Required)

    • yes
    • no

So question 2 should only be shown if the user selects 0-18 years on the first question, so it is a conditional question based on the answer of question 1. However, it seems that I cannot make it required because if someone selects 18-35 or 35 and older the form will not go through since a required question (parents consent) haven’t been answered, but it isn’t shown to the user so it’s a catch 22.

Is this correct that you cannot have required fields if they are conditional? I hope this clarifies my problem
