    Hi

    Please help me..

I heard so much good of this plugin. I need to take full backup of my site, approx 10GB. My host can only take Full backups from the cPanel if the size is maximum 6 Gb…

I tried also with Updraft (the free version) and set the destination to my remote NAS. It only transfered 1.29 GB

So i tried with this plugin and set it all up, it says comlpleted 100 % but with error, please se attached screenshot and tell me what the error code means? And is it even possible to do 10 GB backuos with this plugin, see also log file i toke screendump of.

    Backup_1

    backup_2

    Please advice here..

I believe these errors are encountered when one of your files are too large. Do you have any files that are several GB in size? You might try excluding those from the backup if possible.

I get this error now ERROR: Signal “SIGXFSZ”.

I know it referes to a big file. Is it possible to see which file??

I know i have one file which is 700mb in size.. Other than that, i have to go through 10 gb of data.

I know it is not from my host server side

I really want this plugin to shine…

    Hi paripari,

in BackWPup go to Settings and then to the Tab General. There you can find an option to display folders sizes in the Files Tab when editing a job.

This could help to find large files faster.

    Kind regards

@paripari, to your original question, you may want to try changing archive format to Tar GZip. That signal is often received when you are creating a zip archive and the backup is several GB in size. Can you try doing that and let us know if it helps?

    Hi Christina and Brandon

    Sorry for late answer.

    Yes it worked. Thanks Christina.

I still went along with a ZIP file…
