• Hello everyone,
    guess this is my first post here and I’m planing the creation of a “portfolio-blog” for myself.

    I was thinking about acquiring a domain at one.com but after checking out the Core Update Host Compatibiliy here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Core_Update_Host_Compatibility I’ve noticed that one.com works with caveats:
    * one.com (memory issues)

    Does anybody knows what this means?

    Do a search for post about one.com (click the tag!)

    I don’t know how old that info is about them, and if in doubt email them and ask!

    I have moved 3 domains to one.com since it is cheap and WordPress works very well on this host. I have not had any memory issues with running WP 3.0.1 and many plugins, but this was the case at my older host web10.nu which only offered 32 MB PHP memory.

    By using the plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-system-health/
    I can see that one.com gives me 64 MB PHP memory, which seems to be more than enough for loading the page.
