Compatibility with Advanced Custom Fields 5

The excellent Advanced Custom Fields plugin introduced support for adding fields to widgets in version 5. However, when combining this functionality with Page Builder, the fields built with ACF are not present in the modal window that comes up with the widget fields.

I am assuming that some sort of event listener needs to be added to render the ACF fields within the widget editor. Can someone help? Combining the flexibility of Page Builder with the power of ACF would be a formidable combination.
