• hey guys
i have been recently answering some questions in the forum and sometimes i have seen people ask some questions about commercial themes. Those problems which are quite simple can be answered by anyone with some decent knowledge of css but i have seen moderators like esmi saying that is a commercial theme and support is not offered. So am i violating any forum rules (or any rules as a matter of fact) by offering those solutions?

    cheers

  • hi faz
does this apply to my question also?

    hi
when I create a new page the text is not appearing once it is published.
I have swtiched themes to try and it works with default theme. so it must be something that needs tweaked in the minimatica theme setup.
    any ideas?

Yes. The Great Hammer of Ban’ness will descend on you!

I haven’t read up on the guidlines, but I believe the intention is to support available GPL software.

People shouldn’t make this the first stop for premium support because a) it’s not and we’d be doing the OP and here a disservice, and b) they’ve paid for support and should exercise that option.

Sometimes the questions are really generic and can be answered generically. Others involve getting more in depth and with premium themes and generally can’t actually be supported here.

@votedpedro it’s considered rude to inject your question into someone’s topic like that.

Open your own topic, your question is not related to FazBuzzWP’s.

    ok thanks jan.
who do you think I could ask about this problem as I am not techy at all.

    sorry! am new to this.

Do NOT press moderators or anyone else to help with premium themes. We do NOT support premium themes as you paid for their support when you bought it and it is not our place to keep shady vendors in business. If someone wants to help, that is fine.

so i can answer some small questions 🙂

No one can stop you answering questions but the official policy is that the forums do not support commercial themes. 🙂
