Comments seem misplaced?

    I have been receiving comments (all from the Akismet spam filter) that seem to be misplaced… One comment was very insightful and valuable it was obvious that the reader had read the article in question, but the comment appeared on a completely different article of mine that had nothing to do with the topic at hand. This has happened several times now – is there a logical explanation, and is there a way to move the comment to the right article?

    Yep: it’s from a SPAM bot.

    Try this: clear your browsers cookies and then as a non-logged in user, leave comments to several of your own posts. You can always delete the comments later.

    Did they all end up in the right location? If they did, then you are good.

    If they didn’t then you may have a problem.
