Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
The theme I am using is twenty ten. I switched to a different and went back, but still no luck on either.
Have you enabled commenting in Settings -> Discussion?
Yeah, everything says that it is enabled there.
And in the individual Posts & Pages?
Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Yeah, there are no plugins enabled, and I reset the plugins folder too, but that didn’t change anything.
Got it sorted. There was a problem with the permalinks. It’s working now.

I’m unable to get comments working on my new site.

I have scrolled through the forums a bit and tried using a different theme and disabling the plugins, but I haven’t been able to get anything to work out. Whenever you click to leave a comment, it says page not found.
