What theme are you using? Where did you download it from? Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fifteen theme with all plugins deactivated?
I have Creativo 5.0 and I downloaded it from MOJO Marketplace. When I switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme and deactivated all plugins, the comment section reappeared.
Also, when I reactivated all plugins but kept it on the Twenty Fifteen theme, the comment section is still there. Then when I switch it back to Creativo it disappears again.

My comments box decided to randomly stop appearing underneath all of my posts. I am not familiar with code or HTML enough to figure this out. I checked each individual post to make sure that the “allow comments” box was checked. I also made sure everything was set up correctly to allow comments under the “discussions” link. After reading a few other threads, I checked the “single.php”. Many threads suggested to make sure this code was found there

It was already there so I have no idea what the issue might be. All plugins and the theme are updated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
