Comments no longer work.

    Ok, so my comments were definitely working before 3.9 and now they just don’t work. It works all up the the point after you get the submitting comment part then it goes blank and nothing is posted. Was there any change to the comment functions in 3.9?

    Comments are enabled and all the discussion settings are correct.(and no the comments don’t need approving they don’t even reach the back end for approval anyway)

    Anyone have the same problem or know how to resolve it?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I went and did all of this except the last bit since I wasn’t sure what it meant, and I still couldn’t comment

    Fixed it, had to remove jetpack comments.
