Comments box not showing

    Baz,

    Are comments enabled for the individual posts in question, as well as globally in the “Discussion Settings” options for your blog?

    Could you provide a link to your blog?

    Hi Ken

    In default article setting i have the 1st and third boxes ticked.

    In ‘other comment settings’ I have the last box only ticked

    In ’email whenever’ I have both boxes ticked.

    in ‘before a comment’ no boxes ticked.

    And yes the allow comments are enabled in individual posts.

    Hmm — I just tried installing that theme on one of my sites and had no problems. Maybe it’s a conflict with one of your plugins. Try temporarily turning them off and see if that fixes the problem; if it does, starting turning them on in batches until you can narrow down the one that’s causing the issue.
