Comments Background

    Since I am new-ish to WP, I am playing with things to try to customize some areas but have run into a problem with the background of the comments area.

    I have applied a background behind the blog and this works wonderfully. The problem, however, is that in the comments area of the blog the background jpg is in place but it has bled into the actual comment section resulting in reducing the readability and clearly making the site unattractive and unusable. I have been looking for a couple of days to figure out how to return the actual comment area back to a white background while keeping the blog background intact with no success.

    Could someone be so kind as to guide me as to where to look for a solution?

    Well i didnt clearly understand what’s your problem but an easy way to have white “blocks” of comments is to find the file “comments.php” and make a table there putting in it’s cell whatever you want having a white background (or anything). If, for example, put only the raw <php comment_text()> then you will have many blocks of each comment, etc.
