  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

If I switch to the other theme will it undo ALL my changes to the current theme? I can’t take that risk!

I deleted all the inactive plugins.

    Thanks! Any other suggestions?

    No

No – you need to deactivate all plugins.

I just switched to the other theme and it doesn’t show the comments listed out on the main blog page. It just shows them as links. So I wasn’t able to really tell if it fixed it or not.

All plugins are deactivated. Still not working?

    Thanks for your troubleshooting help!!!

Can we see your site using the Twenty Eleven theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Sure! It is done.

Right now, all comments appear to be listed correctly with their relevant posts. You can check each single post page to see this. Now try re-activating your previous theme. If the comments revert to all showing on every post, then it’s a theme issue.
