Settings > Discussion > Allow people to post comments on new articles
Uncheck the box.
If you have posts or pages that already have the comment box you need to do the following.
- Click on Posts or Pages
- Hover over the Post or Page title
- Click ‘Quick Edit’
- Uncheck the box ‘Allow Comments’
- Click Update

How do you delete the comment section on every page of the theme. i have disabled all on the discussion but the comment section keeps appearing..
