Comment notifications not showing

    Comments not showing in notifications or in comments page. I was having lots of comments and all at once nothing, was told to check ibot plugin if using one which I am not. Please help

    Try switching to the default theme like Twenty seventeen to rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    I’m using theme Twenty sixteen. I deactivated all plugins about a year ago and that didn’t work either. I have not had comments for over a year now and cannot find out why, ready to give up and delete site. Thanks for your suggestions
