• Hi! We are having a problem with comment notification e-mails. We are a not-for-profit peek group and run a website hosting project for member organisations. Each organisation has its own sub-domain and each sub-domain has an instance of WordPress installed. There is a common administrator (lets call him “xxx”) and each sub-domain WordPress has its own administrator (lets call them “yyy”). Administrator xxx does the initial WordPress install and standard setup. Administrator yyy looks after the WordPress website after that. BOTH HAVE DIFFERENT E-MAIL ADDRESSES.

Administrator yyy has been creating Posts and invites comments. When a comment is made the comment notification e-mail is sent to administrator xxx!

I have checked all the Discussion Settings and User Settings but can’t see where this notification e-mail address setting is stored. It seems that because administrator xxx did the initial WordPress setup then its him who gets the e-mail notifications. It also seems that the two administrators have a ranking (like Pages and Posts) but again, if they do I don’t know where to change this setting.

Any help would be most gratefully received.

    Regards,
    Peter
