ok I did find how to remove the comment box from a static page but now some comments were already posted and I would like to remove them how do I do that
As in visitor comments? Either delete them from the admin menu group for Comments, or on the page(s) below the editor, uncheck the Allow Comments in the Discussion box.
yes visitor comments, I have unchecked the boxes at top in screen options but comments from visitors are still showing on the page
You may need to delete them from the Comments area of your dashboard then if they still show.
