I’m having an issue! Most times I post a new article on my blog (http://www.andaluciabound.com), the “leave a reply” comment box won’t show up! I have to go into the post editor and add a comment to my own post in order to have the box appear. I have comments enabled on every individual post and in my general settings. I have tried deactivating all of my plugins and switching to twentythirteen and still had the same problem. Occasionally on a post the comment box will show up without my having to leave a comment first, but 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t show up and I go in and leave a comment on my own post so that others can leave comments below me.
Does anyone have any ideas about this? I don’t like having to leave a comment on my own post every time for obvious reasons and I’d really like to get it figured out. I’ve contacted the developers for my theme (LockSmith) with no response, even though it doesn’t appear to be theme related because I had the same problem when I switched to twentythirteen.
