code emoji script is adding to head

I just noticed that the urls in the code that wordpress is adding to display emojies in the head section of pages on our website had very strange formatting. I am wondering if this is normal, or if I need to fix it in some way.

The URLs look like this https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72×72\/

Why is it displaying \/ rather than /? Is this bad?
