    Hello @shakeout2021.

This error is temporary and does not affect the spam protection of your site.
Please wait a few hours and click “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings.

If that doesn’t help, please, re-install the plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
    – WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Complete Deactivation” to “On” —> Save Changes;
    – WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Delete.
    – Then install it anew: https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress.

    Please specify:
    1) What kind of issues are there with finding your site?
    2) What kind of firewall are you talking about?
    3) What exactly does “firewall has the site is down” mean?

Hi thankyou for your prompt reply.

    1) When I login from my server manager it came up with an error for first time ever. Additionally when I try access the site using cognito mode or different browsers I get notification that I am being checked for Anti-crawler, which is fine for me but worried this will scare customers.
    2) I am using Sucuri Firewall, which a website firewall, to protect from brute force attacts etc
    3) in the last couple weeks since i’ve installed Cleantalk, Sucuri had detected my website as being down on multiple occasions, it will automatically come back online, and I can still access the site but it concerns me that i’m receiving these notifications.

    1) You can read more about the Anti-Crawler mode here: https://cleantalk.org/help/anti-flood-and-anti-crawler#anticrawl.

If you don’t need it, you can disable it: WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Anti-Crawler” to “Off” —> Save Changes.

    2) Thank you.

    3) Most likely, your site was not down. You are using the Sucuri uptime monitoring service, and our Anti-Crawler blocks it. We will take measures to prevent this from happening and will write to you when it is ready. Until then, disable the Anti-Crawler, as I wrote in point 1.

Hi Eugene, thankyou I turned off Anti-crawler mode and everything appears to be working fine now.

Look forward to hearing when everything is ready.

    Hello @shakeout2021.

We have added the Sukuri uptime monitoring service to exceptions so that our SpamFireWall and Anti-Crawler do not block them.

Is there anything else we can help with in this topic?

We haven’t received your reply in a few days, so I’m going to mark this topic as “resolved”.
