changing theme help

    I went back and changed my theme to something closer to what I have in mind. I was able to view it in the customizer and work on it. But, when i go into edit anything on the page, outside of the customizer, it still has most of the elements from the original theme.

    DO i need to completely wipe my site to be able to edit a new theme beyond the customizer? If so, how do i do that?
