Changing Theme

    A couple rookie questions…
    I’ve had the same WP theme (Prosper) for the last couple years and would like to change it to something that will better accommodate video.

    I know how to install a new theme from my dashboard, but I’m nervous. If after I install the new theme, will it in any way affect my existing site, or will changes only be made after I activate it?

    Can I preview how my site will look, and make edits before I activate it?

    My SEO is ok right now, and I really want to install a theme that is SEO-friendly (almost all say they are). Should I be concerned about this, or will it make a difference?
