• I successfully uploaded the beautiful and popular Cutline 3-Column Split 1.1 theme. Is it possible for me to change the stock panoramic header photo to one of my own choosing? I am new at this stuff and don’t the first thing about how to code 🙁

  • Hello Mmmm

I am new in this as well, but…

Look in your Css file on Cutline 3-Columm Split (Without having seen the theme, I can’t for sure tell you where to look) But look for a class name “Header”, there you can see the name of the header picture as well as the size.
Hint: Try right-click on the panoramic header foto and “Save background as” doing that you can see which name the panoramic header has.

Now make sure that your own picture has the same size, give your own picture a name you can use – call it something different than the header.

Then your need to upload your own picture, use a FTP program and place the picture in the picture folder in the Cutline 3-Columm Split folder.

Now open the Css file, go to the part where the picture is used and change the name. Then save.

    Hope it helps.

    look in your header.php

    cheesy solution that works?

upload your image with the same name and in the same directory as the one you want to replace.. makes sure the dimensions are the same so it doesn’t screw stuff up..
