Thanks, but note that, am not changing the URL alone, I need to change the occurrence of “event” to “meeting” in the whole system (site).
Do you mean only on the front-end or also in admin?

This plugin is awesome!
For the front-end, you’d need to go through the fields and content under Event > Settings to change the wording. Most of the settings are under the Pages, Formatting, Bookings and Emails tabs.
Changing the wording in admin might be possible by running a jQuery code snippet that replaces the words as the page loads. Changing the page links within admin would probably lead to problems, so is almost certainly best avoided.
