Is there a simple way to change the page border to black, like on this version:

Cassie, this is not a border, this is a image. You must edit your kubrickbg-ltr.jpg. You must edit on photoshop or gimp (or like that) this image and upload your theme.

not really. that sidebar is actually an image:

http://empty-purse.com/wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickbg-ltr.jpg

If you delete that you can certainly adjust the css, but I havent looked to see what specifically would need changing.
