Changing a vote

I have enabled unique voting for IP to limit each user to one vote — but the plugin does not seem to allow a user to change his/her vote once they post their initial star rating. Does anyone out there know if that is possible with this? It appears support is dead for this plugin, so if anyone has the answer that would be greatly appreciated.
