change title

Hello,
I’m very confused how to customize this plug-in.
I simply want a button saying “Download”. I have been able to CSS the button using .download-link{}.
I removed the download count in php. Now I want a default title for all downloads but I cannot find any way of doing this.
Does anyone know how to do this?
