  • Hi,

    Go to Dashboard -> Events -> Organize -> Select “Region One” category -> Edit and rename the category.

    Thanks for the reply Benjamin — but apparently we have more trouble that I explained. I don’t have an Event button on my Dashboard. Any suggestions of how to get menu buttons to show up?

    The plugin is activated, but you can not see the menu item “Events”?

    Apparently the plugin is activated, I’m able to add events using a link on the top of the screen that has a + New dropdown that includes Event. That brings up a screen to add new events.

    Many of the answers to questions I’ve seen on forums mention going to an “EVENT” button on the right nav bar. I don’t have one. We have a developer working on a new site for us, and I’m trying to load events over from our existing site, but the company has recently become completely unprofessional and unwilling to help with something as simple as making sure the plugins they installed work correctly. I appreciate any help you can offer 🙂

    Hi,

    Probably another plugin set menu item at the same place as our plugin, please edit: all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/post/custom-type.php

    On line 76, you should see:

    'menu_position' => 5,

    Change this to:

    ‘menu_position’ => 7,

    This should solve the problem.
