• Hi,
I was just wondering if there was a way to change the display of the calendar – it is way to big.
Is it possible to make it smaller just with the date squares only the size of the numbers not super massive as its not needed.
Or change the day view to only show available appointments – not every hour in the day.

    Thanks

  • Hey there BridgetD,

    Hope you’re well today!

From what you’ve described I’m assuming that you’re using weekly calendar to display available appointments.

What you can do is to try using monthly calendar instead. It works in a similar way with the difference that only days of the month are being displayed and the time slots are being displayed once the day is selected.

To create a page with monthly calendar please go to Appointments -> Settings -> General -> Display Settings and create new appointments page with current month’s schedule, see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/4i1e3UNoDXI.

This is how calendar should look http://screencast.com/t/j2fBHrGmSuy.

Please let me know if this helps 🙂

    Cheers,

    Thanks Bojan,
When I removed certain shortcodes from my page it made the calendar bigger – but I have sorted this now to a point.

Another question – I have 45min appointments but also want a 15min gap before the next appointment starts. At the moment I have set my day to start at 930 (for the first appointment) then created a break at 1015-1030 (for the next appointment to start at 1030 but it still shows 1015 as an available time slot to book. or the next slot being 11am. (I am guessing because my service time is set to 45mins. – i dont want to change this though as I want that time to show in the appointment booking section)
    Thanks
    Bridget

    Hey again Bridget,

Unfortunately this is not possible in the free version of the plugin.

In premium version this should be possible to achieve by using Paddings add on which is located in Appointments -> SEttings -> Add-ons which allows you to add padding times surrounding your appointment intervals.

I don’t see another workaround aside from making your appointments one hour instead of 45 minutes.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

Thanks again for your help Bojan.
Other than those few little discrepancies the plugin seems to be pretty good. Thanks

    Hey Bridget,

Glad you’re liking the plugin 🙂 Please let us know if you have additional questions 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan
