But I get the same error even when I put in another rss address.
And what do you mean by “I’ve got much newer code here?”. Was there a link there or what?
Thanks for your help.

I meant that I have newer code on my machine than is public available.
I’ve tried my PowerPack release 1.5.3.1, 1.5.4, 1.5.5b1, and 2.0b codebases (and the particular variants of CG-FeedRead therein), and all have no problem accessing that feed. What version of the PowerPack do you have? (1.5.3.1 is the last public release, on my site…)

Then that is the one that I have. I downloaded it recently from your site.
I’m not convinced that the problem is with your plug-in. I think that I have done something to the settings, or perhaps another plug-in, or something. I have always in the past just used the php include from rssfeedreader and it worked like a charm. Still does on all my other sites. But on this one, I can get no php include for rss to work; not rssfeedreader, not the wp include, not other plug-ins.
Thank you for your efforts to help. Any help trouble-shooting will be appreciated.
Sounds like the DNS lookup is broken on that box, not sure why. That’s my best guess. Check with your host, or if it’s a personal box might need to look at error logs.
