Category Page Title

    Hello,

    I have a category page in my website that shows all of the Press Releases. I want to show the category name as the page title since they are on all of the other pages but that one.

    Find the template file that is being used for the press releases category.

    It’s likely to be called category.php, archive.php or it could be in index.php

    Once you have done that you can use the function:

    single_cat_title()

    to display the name of the category.

    The theme that I am using does not have a category.php or archive.php but I read somewhere that you can copy the index.php and rename it category.php and it would do the same thing. Where exactly do I put the single_cat_title()? I am sort of new to php and am still learning.
