Category menu based on post category

Hi

I’m wondering if it is possible to have a menu that is conditional, based up on which category a post appears in?

For instance, if a post appears under category A, can I create a menu that features the sub-categories of Category A?

Have done a search for this using variations of the topic title, but to no avail
