    Hey there

Having a strange problem with categories; to be exact, the plug-in doesn’t seem to think there are any. Despite having multiple galleries, when I click on the ‘edit categories’ button, the resulting window is entirely blank, not even showing the gallery I clicked the button on.

When I try to hit ‘save’, it throws up the following error message: ‘Empty posts hierarchy data for saving’

I’ve noted a couple of other quirks as well with certain functions not seeming to work. Do I just have a bugged install? I installed via the WordPress plug-ins search rather than doing it manually, if that matters at all.

    Thanks.

First of all you need to make sure that you have created galleries. You need to save gallery first to see it in categories manager list.

Please check console of the browser on this page. If you have some warnings, notices or errors please send an email to our support or post ticket on our local tickets system here: https://robosoft.co/new-ticket/

If it’s not gonna help please add to the local ticket info about gallery version and wordrpess version

Hey – apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

I’m not seeing any errors popping up in the console, aside from a 403 when I try to press ‘save’ in the categories manager (with the aforementioned error message).

    We’re running Robo Gallery 2.8.34, WordPress 5.5.3.

Please try to update gallery to the latest version 3.0.1

That fixed it, thank you. Seems like all the bugs related to referencing other galleries seem to have gone away in general.

Great news! Today we have next gallery release of the version 3.0.2 with fixes.

Let me know if you’ll have some other questions.
