Category Headings?

Assuming your category parent is called Parent, and that it has category id of 5, then use the template tag, wp_list_categories(), to display the child categories:

wp_list_categories(‘child_of=5&title_li=<h2>’ . __(‘Parent’) . ‘</h2>’ );
