Categories links?

    If what you’re looking to do is to have your links appear like that instead of index.php?cat=1 you’ll need to set up a custom permalink structure (Options > Permalinks). You can read more about it on the Codex:

    Note that changing permalinks hits everything. You can’t set say just categories.
