categories disappeared

    On one of my blogs (www.ellenfinkelstein.com/pptblog/, my categories disappeared! All of a sudden, no categories! I saw an earlier post on this topic (it was closed, so I’m adding a new one) that said something about emptying the tmp folder in the root of my web host. I called them and they emptied it, but it hasn’t helped. My other blog is fine. What could cause this and what do I do? I haven’t done anything with my installation at all.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – repairing your database?

    I know that the WATS plugin causes this issue.
