Caret in URL

    I’m having a problem with inputting a url that contains a caret. I researched withing WordPress but didn’t find anything; I checked with my framework support (Startbox)and it was suggested I check here…

    When I input this url the caret disappears which changes the url so that it doesn’t point to the correct place.
