    Hi

    I am new to wordpress and am looking to build a car listing website that can do the following

    1) have a separate sign up and login form for private and dealer sellers, if need to be the same forms then the sellers to have different input fields
    2) Dealer company logo
    3) Private to upload 4 images on the listings page where as dealer to have 6 images on listings page
    4) Zip, postcode search
    5) Car of the week on the front page
    6) Show recently added on the front page

    Is there a good plugin and theme that can do the above

    Hi Ian, There are so many choices it boggles the mind. If you just started with WP and are using WP4 the choices are reduced because of compatibility. Start slow and work on one option at a time. Your description does point to at least 3 different plugins.
    I like searching the plugin site and then going to YouTube to watch reviews/instructions there.
    It may take a while but WP does get easier as you get a feel for the process.

    Thank you so much for the reply, appreciate it

    Good thinking, is best to tackle one feature at a time with it starting with number 1 and work my way through the list

    I did try wordpress ages ago but could not get the hang of it and tried other classifieds scripts but were not open source and could not do much with it but hopefully got more chance of doing the site in wordpress

    what features will be the hardest to do do you think?
