But, I do want to install as less plugins as I can. For instance, this captcha doesn’t allow you to add captcha to any form you like.

Say you wanna make some custom <form> tag on your site, right… say it’s a newsletter of somekind, so… you probably wish to add some captcha to it, right? So… you won’t be able to do it with the plugin above.
Have you carried out a test to see if it works on a custom form?

I guess you can’t add a different captcha unless you choose the option in the link you provided above.
