    @gemma, do you have the Sucuri Security – SiteCheck Malware Scanner plug-in installed by chance? I installed this yesterday because of the malware message google issued due to themefuse ad that Mike fixed already. Anyway I turn on the rule in the 1-click hardening settings to “Restrict WP-Content Access.” This breaks the captcha in the plug-in. Reverting that rule solved the captcha problem for me. Hope this helps.
