Need a User Level of at least 5 to write Pages.

I have a level 10 admin ???
The sequence is
Write -> Write Page
Are you on WP 1.5?
What are the submenus of Write?

the only sub menus i have are under Links and Options
Do you have the following menus?
Dashboard - Write - Manage -Links - Presentation - Plugins - Users - Options - Upload - Logout
If not, you’re not on WP1.5

no Dashboard or presentation, but i have edit & categories
Then what you have is not WP 1.5. Only this version will allow you to write pages. WP 1.5 is available from download page. Help yourself.

Are you being serious? If you still want the write pages feature, you have to download WP 1.5. Then just do an upgrade so you won’t lose your previous posts.
