Can’t start updates
-
Hi,
it is possible to start backups, but it is not possible to start updates.(After all, I see, that a backup started, would be nice to get a note, that a backup is finished.)
Thanks for this plugin.

Hi,
it is not possible to start updates.
What happens? Can you describe the steps you take, and the results?
David
I click “show updates for all sites”, get a list with updates to do. Than I can check the boxes and nothing more. There is no button for “start updates” or so…
You don’t have the “Process Queued Updates” button, like in the following screenshot? Can you link a screenshot of what you do see?

David
Hi,
I see the button but I can’t queue them or start updates.
I check the radio buttons, but the button for queued updates shows (0).Hi,
I think this is likely to be a particular bug which is fixed in our development version, which should be released in the next few days. Please look out for it, update, and let us know if it fixes it!
David
Hi Dave,
You can try the fix now, here:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/updraftcentral.zipIt should be released as an update for everyone next week.
David
Thanks, David. I installed the fix, now I can start the updates. I see a message “website XXX. – Automatic backup before update
The backup has begun”
Would be great to have a progress bar, to see, if it is really working. For the moment I have to wait if it does what it says.Regards,
MichaelMe again, sorry π David, I think this Updates-function does not work for the moment. I see 7 plugins- and Divi-Updates to do. I can now queue and start them but than nothing happens within the Websites. No Updates will be installed.
Hi,
Please could you open your browser developer console (instructions here), and attempt the update again?
Do you see any errors or warnings in the console?Hi,
I deleted the old errors and startet the update process again.
Now it shows:
[Error] QuotaExceededError (DOM Exception 22): The quota has been exceeded.

Hi,
This error appears to be related to your browser’s local storage.
What browser are you using to access UpdraftCentral? Are you on a mobile device or using private browsing/incognito mode?Best Wishes,
David NHi,
I’m using a Safari on a MacOS Sierra on a iMac. System updated.
No private browsing.Regards,
MichaelHi,
Try using the ‘Empty’ (cache) button in the settings (press the settings icon in the top right of the UC section).
David
Hi,
I did what you said.
2 elements were deleted. After that I started the Update process within UpdraftCentral. 11 Pulgins-Updates and 4 Divi-Updates were processed.
I get the sign “Automatic Backup for XYZ.de startet” or so but than nothing happened.Michael
Does it work better if you turn off automatic backups on that site? (in the UpdraftPlus settings, in the ‘expert’ section)?
David
