• Hello

First of all i want to apologize for my english πŸ™‚

So the problem accures when i’m trying to post a comment. I’m writing text, name, email, everything is fine, then i click the post it/send (or whatever it’s named in english version) button and… white page – error. actually it comes in polish so i won’t copy it, just try to translate
    “Error

    URL can’t be checked

    While checking URL http://www.fazi.dajseluz.pl/wp-comments-post.php

    an error accured:
    – checked document is zero sized [or has zero size]

Squid didn’t recaive any data in answer to this demand.

wp-comments-post.php is original file from installation files.

Sometimes the comment actually appears when i manualy load the page of commented post. So it’s like everything works but browser can’t reload page after saving the comment. But sometimes it doesn’t appear at all.

I’ll add that same thing is happening on every theme, every browser, and that i had this wordpress before working fine on other domain (same server), moved it and then it started to do that thing. I moved it correctly and everything else is working just fine so i don’t think that is becouse of moving. Especially that same thing happens to brand new fresh installations with fresh clean databases. I have no plugins, version is 2.0.3.

I thought it may be something with permissions. I gave only 777 to uploads dir so i can upload images. Do i have to CHMOD anything else?

Please help. I’ll be very grateful becouse one day more and i’ll need some prozac.

  • i would try a fresh install in the new domain, then export the comments/posts/users from the old db, and import into the new one. I’ve noticed some very strange issues when trying to move a running install around, even on the same server.

i’ve already installed two other fresh WP with two diffrent databases for friends, same thing happening

could it be something with subdomains? before my WP was running well in root dir of domain. now these ones are installed on subdomains wordpress.domain.com. ??
