Cant login admin area

    i dont know how happened but i can not login my admin area.
    it gives an password error.
    i click the lost my password ,it sends my mail an password resent link (key ) when i click the link it gives this error:
    “Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.”

    Tried many times but nothing changed.

    Two choices:

    Manually reset your password using one of the strategies at Resetting Your Password. I like using phpMyAdmin for this…

    or

    install the fix as suggested in trac ticket 6842 and don’t forget Otto’s little fix to wp-db.php that is listed there.

    I am getting a key with a no special characthers but the system is not letting me login as admin with the new password.

    problem solved. It was the cookie thing. When I went to the login screen it showed had a www in the url. i took that out and it let me use the new password. it seems the cookie uses the www or non www in the url. rather than delete all of the cookies, that was a quick fix!

    Just an fyi.
