• I have used webmin to configure apache. I also have two sites with two different internal IP addresses using port 80.One of which is working fine. The other one seems to display everything correctly, apart from installing plugins from the wordress gui.

    I keep getting :

“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

Also on the home page I have the following error :

RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Connection timed out

RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to ssl://planet.wordpress.org:443 (Connection timed out)

  • This usual indicates your hosting provider has detected malicious files on your account and they have blocked outgoing connections to certain web ports, including 443. Hope this helps!
