cant find database name

    i have created a database, but it keeps popping up the error below.
    Can’t select database
    We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the blueearth database.

    Are you sure it exists?
    Does the user blue have permission to use the blueearth database?
    On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_blueearth. Could that be the problem?
    If you don’t know how to set up a database you should contact your host.If all else fails you may find help at the WordPress Support Forums.

    the database does exist
    the user has all.

    what could be the solution to this problem?

    Check your database details with your hosts.

    i have checked my database details. the password is correct and so is the username.
    the database name is also correct i checked letter by letter but the error still appears i have cleared my cache but the error still appears.

    i do not know what to do now

    i have found the solution.

    the user didn’t have the rights to communicate with the server.so i created a user that has all the server privileges and added the database name and the other details on the wp-config.php file then uploaded it on the site.

    once i typed in the domain it took me straight to the LOGIN page .
    i finally got the solution after 4 hours
