I am trying to rebuild everything now
It looks like some content is there – are your posts in the posts screen and are your images in the media library.
If not, have you looked in your database to see if they are there?
And is that a current version of Thesis?
yes
Thesis current version is 2.0.3.1 but it has major differences from the 1.xx series. The current 1.xx from DIY Themes is 1.8.5.
